At the recommendation of my sister, I started this blog to write about my upcoming wedding and marriage. I don't know if my story is any more unique than anyone else's, but I hoped that there would be some relatable, helpful and even some empathetic moments in here that would connect with whoever reads this. Well, the wedding has come and gone, and this blog details not only my journey to the altar, but my journey since the altar, which really is the start of a whole new journey.

This Beautiful Mess is another blog I created to be a part of Project 365, hosted by Daisy Kisses. It is the year in pictures, one picture posted for each day of the year!
Oh, gosh.....how fantastic! I LOVELOVELOVELOVE the Smokies. We're headed up there later this month, actually! You'll have a wonderful time.
How are you feeling? Take some time for yourself in the middle of the busy-ness of everything. A bubble bath or an afternoon reading or whatever makes you feel like YOU.
Hi all! I'm just a girl whose got some thoughts and stories to share with those who are willing to read. And I'm OK if that's just me. I'm a devoted follower of Jesus, a wife, a high school English teacher on Long Island, a mom to too-many-cats (I blame my husband for that), and hopefully, to a real baby, as soon as God blesses us. I'm 38almost39, been married for almost 3 years, and have lived in NY for my whole life( and that equal TOO LONG!). I've also known Jesus almost my whole life, and that can never be LONG ENOUGH. I believe that the human experience is a mix of the beautiful and the tragic, but the hand of God is able to redeem it all. I'm writing this blog because I need to write this, but I hope it might mean something to you as well.
